Got mine in May 2020. 3700x At the date of 18/Feb./2022 Never disappointed me.

Pros

  • Price, in my opinion is the best for the price in every country.
  • Works on 40°c-50°c in winter-summer.
  • Works great with air coolers so dont need WC your system.

Cons

  • no pad pin (like intel).
  • it came with AMD wraith prism, the system of that cooler is kinda risky to lock.

FAQs

Which processor is better AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel i7? ›

AMD Ryzen 7 will offer you a better overall value than the Intel Core i7 CPUs. Remember that both are great choices for gaming and strong performance, as they have performed better than the minimum benchmark score of different games. However, if you are looking for a multitasking beast, the Ryzen 7 is a good choice.

What is AMD Ryzen 7 3700X compared to Intel? ›

Comparing the 3700X to Intel's i7-9700K shows that, when overclocked, the 3700X is 26% faster at 64-core computations but 13% slower for gaming and desktop (sub eight core performance).

What is the difference between AMD Ryzen and Intel Core i7? ›

A: AMD Ryzen 7 CPUs generally excel in content creation tasks due to their higher core and thread counts, which allow for better multitasking and faster rendering. However, Intel i7 CPUs can still provide excellent performance in content creation, especially in single-threaded applications.

Which is better AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel Core i9? ›

For users relying on integrated graphics capabilities, such as gaming or 3D-intensive tasks, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D showcases a better performance than the Core i9 13900K.

Which is better, AMD Ryzen or Intel? ›

Each offers unique features tailored to different user needs and budgets. While Intel processors are preferred for high-end gaming due to their high clock speeds, Ryzen processors powered laptops are favoured for productivity tasks and versatile builds.

Which is better AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel Core i5? ›

If you require high single-threaded performance, the Intel i5 processor may be the better choice. However, if you need high multi-threaded performance, the AMD Ryzen 7 processor is the way to go.

Is a Ryzen 7 3700X high end? ›

Essentially, the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X has a lot going for it, from its performance and low power consumption to its very reasonable MSRP. When it was released, it was the best processor for most people and that remains the case if you can get it for cheap.

How old is Ryzen 7 3700X? ›

The AMD Ryzen 7 3700X is a desktop processor with 8 cores, launched in July 2019, at an MSRP of $329.

Is a Ryzen 7 3700X good for gaming? ›

Find out more about how we evaluate games and hardware. AMD's third-generation Ryzen CPUs boast higher clockspeeds and more cores than the previous first and second gen parts, and the Ryzen 7 3700X is now one of the best CPUs for gaming. Zen 2 CPUs are so good that AMD almost doesn't need the faster offerings.

Which one is better for programming, Ryzen or Intel? ›

Productivity: For productivity-oriented tasks, such as office productivity suites and web browsing, both Intel and AMD processors offer sufficient performance. However, AMD Ryzen processors may offer better value for budget-conscious users.

Which AMD processor is equivalent to the i9? ›

If you're in the market for the ultimate high-performance, consumer-grade desktop CPU, the Ryzen 9 and Core i9 are both compelling options. In 2021, new second-generation Ryzen 9s in the Ryzen 5000 Series (headed up by the ferociously powerful 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X) have taken the fight to the latest Core i9s.

Is it worth getting a Ryzen 9 over Ryzen 7? ›

If you want to play games and applications like video editing or 3D rendering that require multi-core performance, you may want to consider Ryzen 9. As it has double the core power, it allows faster and smoother multitasking experiences.

Is Ryzen faster than i9? ›

Both Intel Core i9 and AMD Ryzen 9 processors perform well in benchmarks, with each excelling in different areas. Intel Core i9 processors typically have a slight edge in single-threaded performance benchmarks, while AMD Ryzen 9 processors generally outperform in multi-threaded benchmarks.

Is i9 a lot faster than i7? ›

An i9 might take the performance crown, but the i7 is still a high-end eight-core processor that'll crush multi-threaded workloads without completely breaking the bank. Buy i9 if… you want the fastest Intel processor around, whatever the cost.

What processor is better than i7? ›

In mainstream CPUs, the Core i7 offerings of late have straddled the line between low-end content creation and high-end gaming performance, though that latter crown would eventually be taken by a new contender at the tip-top of the top end: the various Core i9 lines.

Is the Intel i7 better than the i5? ›

Why consider Intel® Core™ i7? Intel Core i7 processors are typically faster and more capable than Core i5 CPUs. The latest i7 chips offer up to six cores and 12 threads, making them better suited for advanced multitasking.

Is the i7 better than the Ryzen 9? ›

Below we can see in Premiere Pro the Core i7-13700K has a noticeable lead over the Ryzen 9 7900 and the latter was around 100 points slower than the Ryzen 9 7900X too. However, both those CPUs draw far more power and the 7900X is also $100 more expensive.
